Stori Bilong James N Takep

James works as a clerk in the Human Rights lawyer’s office in Kerowagi in the Simbu Province of Papua New Guinea. He supports the organisation Kup Women for Peace with legal advice. He shares how he takes some cases related to sorcery accusations and violence to the national and district court. John demonstrates a deep conviction that everyone has a right to life and to accessing justice. And while at times he feels overwhelmed by his work, he continues to follow through with the cases as e is one of a few people in his area supporting survivors of sorcery related violence to access justice.
